#sairat

Movie #Sairat

I knew it was directed by Nagraj Manjule.. i had seen fandry and to overcome from the movie it took time. when i saw trailer on youtube, i thought i all that sad love story and it will hurt more like fandry when you watch it.

i waited for a week to see people's reaction , everyone was stunned after watching the same. I could not stop myself and went alone to watch it on sunday.

its been a week and i am still as stunned as they were. i cant come out that complete story, what a beautiful portrayal of love story!

i belong from sahyadri mountains.. we speak the same marathi language in village which movie showcased. i never thought it would make such appeal on theatre. all the marathi movie had used this kind of slan marathi language, till now it sounded very theatrical or acting based..

Nagraj Sir, has beautifully placed the language within characters and the village. while watching movie you feel like you in the actual village. the art is done meticulously.

from prince name plate on bullet to book of actors in college. from jingat dance to the original love, everything is shown how we always visualised. the best part is whatever shown was never hyped...

You feel so much heaviness in your heart when you watch the last moments of film.
i still get goose bumps when i think about last 3 minutes.

this is my perspective , what is yours ??

Timepass

The best of marathi cinema is here, i have not seen so simple yet so trully engrossing movies.
With a start shivaji raje bhosle to duniyadari. Then we got see so important phase of children's life through 'balak palak'.
I never thought these people will go to such aspects of life to make a film onto.

The greatest addition of all is 'Timepass'.
We all must have gone through this phase, so detailed expression, the purity of first love and music to fall for.

Lets see what marathi directors have next  in the box office.

The Crow Story once again..

Mom and I were having dinner and She said, "every day i keep water for Birds and food. Initially Different kinds of  birds came in and drank water , ate stuff and they use to go. Beautiful Parrots, Crows , Pigeons etc.
Over period of time mom observed that only crows are coming in and no other bird come to window had water and eat food and went. Gradually, When crows are addicted to the daily timing of food and water some time it happens that mom forgets to keep for them. Crows have their own way of communication, If they need water to drink then they will hit the cup which tied to the window. If they are hungry and mom pays no attention then they take the curtain out. They understand the perfect timing of muma's breakfast timings. Last thing is they only eat and ask for food in day light.

Secondly, there are burglars (Pigeons) who roam around kitchen and look for timing so that they can sneak inside the kitchen and take away food which is never done by any crow.

This is one of its kinds of behavioral characteristic and understanding the territory part , those parrots are going exact opposite of window to eat their share of food.

The dilemma is now that , My mom always taught me share rejoice & be kind. My question is food is one of the most important part of animals life and they fight so taught for that. I as a human, completely accept the fact of food sharing and caring. What about my career goals, which is as important as food to the animals. should i be so kind and humble to people?

Generation Gap

Today, Zee Talkies has broadcasted Movie "Balak-Palak(BP)" . Since i have watched it in theatre, I dint care to sit with my dad and watch it. May be I was little bit shy and A boy of 14 Age was still alive in me.

On the other way round, I was catching up with my friends for movie "Duniyadari" . At mid twenties, We boys with same excitement for BP during our teenage was excited today to catch up the show of "duniyadari". It had college, love , romance, Dialogues, Friendship bond and so on...

While show was going on, One my friends said, "Yaar, i still don't have girl friend." and The other was blaming his Ex as one of actress ditches her boyfriend during movie. Other one with watered eyes missed someone and We blamed each other for our love failures. Most heard dialogue in our conversation was , " TU CHUTIYA THA AUR RAHEGA  :D" .

I wondered, Our parents are watching "Balak palak" but our Needs and Problems are different now. May be directors should script for "Yuva - Palak and Yuva's LOVE"

Post cinema Thoughts

Life consist of 4 words, after watching a movie called 'lunch box'
i think it can be lived in 4 decades, 4 years, 4 months or sometimes its 4 words on a piece of paper.

Movies like 'choti si baat' , 'life in a metro' & Dhobi ghaat portray a common man's love and life so meticulously. It makes us curious to see as many time we watch it. The simple reason, I find about the storytelling is "we" are hero of that movie, We almost see ourselves in the character and imagine things.

There is each and every thing portrays a communication to us in cinema. Choti si baat and lunch box movie has same kind of wall clock and office. The overall feel of the movie somewhere lies in the hand of art people.

Its not only about the lead actor or actress, there are so many people on screen and in every scene actually doing a fantastic job, they are so real and perfect.

Cinema is one of which ways "A man thinks otherwise, about and ask questions to life!"

An Indian way of xpressing..

It comes like a thought and flies away , some may keep it in heart . some may just share with close ones . Feelings are so inconsistent.
We speak through our wardrobe , hairstyle , expressions but there is something we speak louder about our emotions and sometimes we just see it on a vehicle .
Stuck in a heavy traffic in mumbai , one will surely come across such person who is stating something more than just a car or bike no.
It is the statement that one actually put at the back of his vehicle and Sitting in a heavy traffic we give different reactions to the statements . Some may try to show attitude , aggressiveness and thrill to his driving or ‘so called life’ ( WANNA RACE !) . On next signal you may catch a biker saying ‘i don’t wanna be roadie but entrepreneur’ and i literally asked him ‘did you really tried for auditions :P’ , before giving conclusion to that wanna be roadie a heart broken yellow bike comes in a way saying ‘i still miss you’ , Giving an strong reason to feel pity about his love life. Some may show politics and some may show a indomitable warrior or his name to show his gratitude for that religion.
Its all in one different phenomena of human behavior that a suppressed workmen also easily express his emotions on his vehicle. Appease his heart and make others to think from mind.
